Thanks to Rotarians, Liberty customers, community partners, and our teammates, we met that goal--and blew right past it.
TOGETHER, WE RAISED $1,000,000 TO FEED OUR NEIGHBORS ON THANKSGIVING—AND BEYOND.
THANKS FOR HELPING US PROVE THAT WHEN A COMMUNITY COMES TOGETHER, THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN'T DO.
Liberty Bank and our Rotary partners were determined that this year's Liberty Bank/Rotary Club Thanksgiving Drive would be our biggest ever. Because now, more than ever, our communities were counting on us. But we didn't know our own strength...we raised a whopping $1,074,010!
THE GOAL:This year, it wasn't just about Thanksgiving food for all. It was about stocking our local food pantries for Thanksgiving — and beyond.
THE TEAM:Liberty Bank, the Liberty Bank Foundation, 48 Rotary Clubs — and YOU!
HOW IT WORKS:Right after Columbus Day, our Liberty branches and Rotary partners started raising money for Thanksgiving food. Our foundation kicked in an additional 25 cents for every dollar raised — and our Rotary friends distributed the funds to local agencies that gave Thanksgiving baskets to families in their towns.
Since we started doing this in 2004, we’ve raised more than $4 million to feed our neighbors on Thanksgiving. Thanks for helping us achieve another record-breaking drive in 2020!
