Hopes Realized!

Liberty Bankers having been volunteering for the High Hopes Therapeutic Riding Center of Old Lyme for years. Their specialty is helping turn the center’s riding ring from a barn into a ballroom in time for High Hopes’ annual fundraiser. This year, 26 employees from all across our service area split into two teams, rolled up their sleeves and brought about a Cinderella-worthy transition. The first team tackled the tough jobs of cleanup and prep, while the second one was there hours before the event to beautify the surroundings and set tables for about 600 guests. High Hopes reports it was all worth it. This year’s fundraiser produced $250,000 for the center after expenses! Thanks, bankers.
