Liberty LENDS A Hand
Liberty Bank is making June an annual month of giving in the communities it serves by partnering with local nonprofits to lend a hand or give a hand up. This bank-wide effort engages all of the bank’s employees in volunteer projects and collections in all 55 branches throughout the month of June.
Beginning June 1st, employees will have the opportunity to sign up to volunteer for a nonprofit project in Liberty Bank’s foot print, and/or donate to a branch collection benefiting a nonprofit in the town the branch serves. Volunteer projects range from landscaping for a Habitat for Humanity house in Portland and painting the Boys and Girls Club of Waterbury, to cooking food for veterans in New Haven. Branch collections include toiletries for local shelters, food items for the food pantry, books for children, and more!
