The Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS® (GHAR) held a fundraiser in July to benefit Liberty Bank Foundation grantee, the Coalition on Housing and Homelessness. The Coalition strives to end all types of homelessness in Middlesex County, Meriden, and Wallingford. Event participants strolled between three generous Middletown restaurants: Esca Wine Bar, La Boca, and Mezzo Grill, and enjoyed great food and live music. The evening included prizes donated by sponsors and area businesses.
GHAR was proud to present a check for $3,873 raised to Ann Faust, executive director of the Coalition. Event proceeds will support a network of service providers collaborating to streamline and standardize the process for homeless individuals and families to regain housing.
“This is our fifth year and it only gets better,” said Sara Etienne of eXp Realty, and one of the organizers of the event. “It’s all thanks to the generosity of REALTORS®, their friends and the area Middletown businesses that come together to support a worthwhile, housing-related charity.”
