Liberty Bankers periodically pay $5 to wear jeans to work in support of a good cause. Most recently, their contributions (and good wishes) went to IICONN, a Connecticut nonprofit providing resettlement and services to immigrants. The fundraiser was sponsored by Liberty Bank employees Joann Kokorus (pictured in white scarf) and Stephanie Orazietti (in black jacket). Both are board members of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS), Connecticut Chapter. IICONN, in turn, is one of the philanthropic organizations that the ACAMS CT supports. In all Liberty Bankers kicked in an impressive $1,355 for immigrant legal representation, resettlement, and services to combat human trafficking. Here Joann and Stephanie present the fundraising proceeds to Claudia Connor, president & CEO of IICONN, and her staff.
