It ain’t easy being a nonprofit nowadays. Government funding is waning and donations from individuals have fallen off as well. Yet, the need remains the same or greater, depending on the organization and service. We’re fortunate to support so many Connecticut agencies that provide education, housing and food to those who have the most to lose if the service were no longer available. Following our last round of grant approvals, staff took to the road to present grant checks in person to the following organizations.
