Another June-long Liberty Lends a Hand campaign has come to a conclusion and the results are terrific. More than one hundred and fifty employees donned their I Heart Helping t-shirts and volunteered almost 900 hours at 18 local nonprofits — hammering, weeding, raking, sawing, planting, andĀ painting. Each bank branch and department also pitched in, collecting over 13,000 items (a record amount) for donation to 60 area nonprofits. Food collections led the list, but plenty of others responded to the needs of animals, children and low-income homeowners.
